A short walk through Phuket Old Town
Shophouses, a museum in an old school, and the Sunday market on Thalang Road. A loop you can do in an afternoon.

The Old Town is 3.6 km from Baan Sino, a short drive south. Park near the Clock Tower and walk.
Thalang Road and Soi Romanee
Thalang Road is the main street of restored Sino-Portuguese shophouses: arched five-foot ways, painted shutters, cafés on the ground floors. Soi Romanee is a narrow lane off Thalang Road, lined with pastel shophouses.
Krabi Road
Thai Hua Museum, in a former Chinese school, tells the story of Phuket's tin-mining families. A few doors along, Chinpracha House is a Sino-colonial mansion that is open to visitors.
Sunday evening
On Sunday evenings Thalang Road closes to traffic for the Lard Yai walking street market, with food stalls and local crafts.
